Fernando Mario Rial Ponce

Fernando Rial Ponce is the Studio Design Director at KEO International Consultants, leading concept architecture across Qatar, KSA, and Kuwait and business development across KSA. Since joining KEO in 2023, he has been at the forefront of high-profile projects in the region, including the KFH HQ in Kuwait, Bank Alfalah HQ in Karachi, the U-View Mixed-Use Tower in Jeddah, and multiple residential and commercial towers across KSA and the UAE.

With over 23 years of international experience, Fernando’s career spans Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He began in Spain with Diez-Cascón Architects and ACXT (IDOM Group), before joining Studio Fuksas in Rome, where he contributed to major cultural and commercial projects worldwide. Moving to Asia, he held senior design roles at HOK in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and later at NBBJ Hong Kong, where he advanced to Senior Associate and Studio Design Leader.

Fernando is known for combining design excellence with strategic vision, delivering projects that balance creativity, technical rigor, and client aspirations. His work covers masterplans, high-rise towers, mixed-use developments, hospitality, healthcare, and cultural facilities.

An Executive MBA graduate, Fernando also brings strong business and operational insight. He is active in thought leadership, serving as keynote speaker at INDEX Qatar, guest critic at leading universities, and juror for Qatar University.
