Giovanni has developed leadership skills in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects, ensuring coordination among structural, architectural, and technical teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions. As Middle East Regional Director for Maffeis Engineering, he is responsible for overseeing engineering deliverables, project timelines, and ensuring seamless integration across the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and installation. Giovanni guides the company’s strategic growth in the Middle East, managing key client relationships and major projects across various sectors including infrastructure, real estate, energy, and transportation. He leads a local team of 30 professionals as well and supervises a wide range of technical solutions, from foundation works to superstructures, building envelopes, and cladding. Recently, Maffeis Engineering has gained recognition for its involvement in iconic sports developments, notably supporting infrastructure for the Qatar FIFA World Cup and preparing for upcoming projects related to the KSA FIFA World Cup. Giovanni’s leadership continues to drive the company’s success in delivering innovative and high-quality engineering solutions in the region.
