Haytham Ayoub


Haytham is a sustainability strategist and net-zero specialist, holding a Master’s in Sustainable Engineering built on a background in mechanical engineering. With over 15 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to reshaping energy systems, advancing sustainable initiatives, and embedding circular design into strategic projects across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait.

His work spans public and private sectors, as well as research, where he has consistently driven meaningful progress in sustainability through multidisciplinary projects. In addition, Haytham successfully delivered big scale renewable energy infrastructure projects. Among his key innovations is an award-winning, dust-resistant solar capture system, which has been featured in peer-reviewed publications.

In 2024, Haytham joined Cundall’s MENA team to lead sustainability efforts in Saudi Arabia, supporting organizations in developing net-zero roadmaps, integrating green building practices, and designing low-carbon infrastructure. He excels at uniting industry and policy to transform ambitious climate goals into practical, impactful projects that enjoy broad stakeholder support and deliver lasting change.
